2019 marks the beginning of aggressive growth predictions for the RPA job market as organizations continue to rapidly adopt RPA technology. As such, enterprises are under pressure to not only source specialist automation skills, but many are relying on rich and accessible educational resources to better enable their people to build and professionalize their RPA skills.
In an article citing research data from ISG Research and Technojobs, the demand for RPA related jobs over 2019 and 2020 will accelerate considerably. According to Technojobs data, the volume of RPA jobs has already grown over 15 times from 2016 to 2018 alone. In addition, ISG predicts a 100% growth in advanced usage of automation, which will inevitably further fuel the demand for specialist automation skills. With this in mind, it’s no surprise that the RPA job market is expected to multiply and expand further over the next two years.
Just in time to support these growth trends, we have expanded and enriched our RPA community to integrate with NICE Dojo, one of the largest global networks for RPA education and professional development. The content rich, yet highly flexible and accessible nature of the NICE Robotic Automation Community and educational platform, is designed to enable enterprises, globally, to upskill and educate their RPA personnel. We believe that during the course of 2019, the focus of RPA education and professional development will play a significant role in the industry. As such, enterprises (whether they are invested in automation or not) require smart, accessible and rich knowledge resources to enable their employees to grow their professional automation skills and careers, at their own pace. Likewise, established automation professionals require peer to peer support, between automation specialists from around the world, to share best practices and further develop and grow their skills.
