NICE’s Newly Enhanced Robotic Automation Community Supports RPA Job Market Growth for 2019

We have expanded and enhanced our Robotic Automation community to integrate with one of the largest global networks for RPA education and enablement, supporting the growth and professional development of the RPA industry.

2019 marks the beginning of aggressive growth predictions for the RPA job market as organizations continue to rapidly adopt RPA technology. As such, enterprises are under pressure to not only source specialist automation skills, but many are relying on rich and accessible educational resources to better enable their people to build and professionalize their RPA skills.

In an article citing research data from ISG Research and Technojobs, the demand for RPA related jobs over 2019 and 2020 will accelerate considerably. According to Technojobs data, the volume of RPA jobs has already grown over 15 times from 2016 to 2018 alone. In addition, ISG predicts a 100% growth in advanced usage of automation, which will inevitably further fuel the demand for specialist automation skills. With this in mind, it’s no surprise that the RPA job market is expected to multiply and expand further over the next two years.

Just in time to support these growth trends, we have expanded and enriched our RPA community to integrate with NICE Dojo, one of the largest global networks for RPA education and professional development. The content rich, yet highly flexible and accessible nature of the NICE Robotic Automation Community and educational platform, is designed to enable enterprises, globally, to upskill and educate their RPA personnel. We believe that during the course of 2019, the focus of RPA education and professional development will play a significant role in the industry. As such, enterprises (whether they are invested in automation or not) require smart, accessible and rich knowledge resources to enable their employees to grow their professional automation skills and careers, at their own pace. Likewise, established automation professionals require peer to peer support, between automation specialists from around the world, to share best practices and further develop and grow their skills.

Some of the jobs which are already in demand include Automation Developer, Automation Analyst, Automation Support Engineer (to name a few). As the demand for these specialist skills continues to grow, so will the earning potential of these types of professional automation roles. Practical learning material and more formal certification programs, supporting some of these popular automation roles, are all available in NICE RPA’s community forum.

With a myriad of resources available such as how-to videos, e-learning certification programs, white papers and short articles, open forum debates, product feature updates and technical learnings, the NICE Robotic Automation community forum is backed by NICE RPA’s 16-year track record of successful, large scale RPA deployments.  In addition, being desktop automation natives and leaders in the virtual attendant market, community members will have all the resources to learn more about NEVA (NICE Employee Virtual Attendant) and new cognitive innovations.

Fully digitized and socially enabled, we believe that our RPA community is set to positively impact the professional growth and development of our vibrant and dynamic RPA eco-system.
